Boost Focus and Productivity
It’s not easy to focus and concentrate when there are continuous notifications and distractions from Social media. A short break from Social media made me easy to concentrate on work and other tasks. This helped me with more productivity and more task.
Improved Relationships
Having a gap from Social media allowed me to be more present in conversations face to face and to interact with my family friends and close ones. This helped me to improve good relations with them and eventually live a happy life.
Reduced Stress and Anxiety
Social media influence makes us constantly check notifications, messages, posts,s and pictures. This made my life stressful. Having a break helped me to reduce stress and anxiety. This is how disconnecting from social media improved my mental health.
Greater Appreciation for the Present Moment
With constantly interacting with Social media, I was unaware of the thing happening around the surroundings. Having a break from Social media created a sense of mindfulness and gratitude.

Taking a break from Social media gave me time and space to take a step back and reflect on my thoughts and ideas. It also helped me to get that extra time and space to be creative and pursue my hobbies and interest.

Social media is a great platform to make friends and share a good time, but can sometimes promote a sense of comparison and competition, which can be a loss to creativity. Comparison and Comparison can also have sometimes negative effects on one’s personal life.
Obtain Valuable Time
Yes, taking a break from Social media can definitely help me obtain time. When I’m not checking my phone or scrolling through social media, I didn’t get that extra time to work that I loved.
For example, I had the hobby of reading, gardening, exercising, and spending time with my friends. Also, I got that extra time to relax and admire the nature around me. This is how I understood the Positive outcomes of a social media detox.
Sleep Better
Continuous calls, message alerts, and Social media had reduced my hours of sleep. Sleeping late at night and waking early made my body more harm than good.
Cutting off Social media helped me to sleep peacefully and awake fresh and active every time I tried.
